HARISSA PORK MEATBALLS

Harissa pork meatballs

Meatballs (Serves 3-4)

-500g pork mince

-1 egg

-1 tsp salt

-1 tsp cracked pepper


Sauce

-1 x can of tomatoes

-2 x finely chopped garlic cloves

-2 x tbsp culleys harissa sauce

-1 tsp salt

-1 tsp ground sage

-1 tsp onion powder

-50g fresh chopped basil

-100g cashew nuts

-olive oil



Method

1-Mix all meatball ingredients together until the meat has binded, this would usually take around 5 minutes. Once the meat has binded together then roll in your hand and shape into small balls.


2-Heat your fry pan on a medium temperature, place a generous amount of olive oil in the fry pan. Once the pan has heated up add your meatballs, cook for 10-15 minutes turning them over regularly.


3-Add your cashew nuts to the fry pan and slightly brown them before adding all of your sauce ingredients to the pan


4-Cook for a further 5 minutes before serving
